August, 2010: Mojo at the Wheel
Moe, aka Mr. Man, is a traveling fool. He loves to go on rides with dad and cannot wait until the next adventure. Moe will not sleep while the truck is moving though. He insists on riding in the jump seat, not missing a thing. In addition to traveling adventures, Moe enjoys long walks with his mom and dad and taking his morning and afternoon naps on the sofa, just beneath the air conditioner. What a life....
July, 2010: Penny (picture to follow)
Letter from Penny to Kay: Dear Ant Kay Remember me? It's Penny! I know I haven't written to you in an awful long time but I have been super busy! I been helpin my daddy in the motocycle shop. I watch and make sure he does it right an then I help him sweep the floor with my tail... it works good - but only in a circle around where I plant my butt. Every Friday he takes me to see his daddy (that's my Grand Paw, you know) We go to Grand Paw's motocycle shop and all the men drink beers and lie and I snuff around until I get tired and then I lay down and listen. Every so often I make a round to let the men pat my head (they get upset if I don't). My Grand Paw makes sure to keep peenuts around and he cracks them and gives them to me... I LOVE PEENUTS! A few Fridays ago we had to miss the afternoon visit and Grand Paw was very upset. He said he bot a brand new bag of peenuts and had to eat them himself.... OH and guess what? I go to the jim now! My mommy and daddy get up SUPER early and we get in the car and drive there and I sit outside with the hatch up and wait. THEN mommy and I do our jog home. We used to go for walks around the feeled but there is a big black cat out there that mommy says I can't chase. I don't know why... it's just a big old cat with a white stripe on it's back! It sure is proud of it's tail though - every time it sees us it sticks it strate up in the air! Mommy says that she doesn't want the cat to hose me off... That's just dumb - Mommy hoses me off every week when we get home from the motocycle riding track... We still go to the motocycle track every week. It's super fun! Cousin Bella can't come in the summer but I play with the other doggies there - and there's always a kid or too to run around with. I don't under stand how come Bella can't come play - something is wrong with her nose I gess ... Mommy tried to esplain to me that in the summertime her short nose doesn't work and she gets too hot. I sure am glad my nose isn't too short! Daddy took me to the vet last week and they stuck a stick up my butt and stabbed me in the neck again. I sure wish they wouldn't do that. Love, Penny

June, 2010: Blue
Update from Blue's mom: Blue is doing GREAT!! She’s still the best thing that’s ever happened to me. She is 100% family for my husband, me, my parents, my brother, my niece and nephew, and my friends. She comes everywhere with me still, even work when I can get away with it. Blue’s in great health, we get her checked regularly and the Vet’s office is always happy to see her. I take her on 45 minute runs every other day (she’s slowing up a little since she’s about 7-8 years old now) and loves it. She goes to the dog park regularly and still has her very best friend Bogart (my best friend’s dog). They still have sleepovers (just last night actually) and play-dates. She is so spoiled, if I ever have to travel without her (once maybe twice a year for a few days) she is fought over by my best friend and parents. They have agreed to joint custody every time Blue needs to be watched. My dad used to travel on occasion for work so my mom would take Blue over night so she’d have company. Blue hangs out with me, my niece, and nephew every Saturday. She loves them so much, they give her hugs, kisses, scratches, and treats whenever they can. She trick-or-treats with them ever year. She still goes on walks and hikes all the time. Blue has her own bed both inside and out (she likes to sunbathe A LOT) but she always sleeps with me in bed at night. Blue has so much spunk and energy still; you’ll never see her board at the beach! We’ve dedicated a section of our backyard to her digging (which was never a problem, we just new she liked to do it) we figure why fight it! She only digs in the one area to bury her bones and goof around. Blue is very obedient and attentive. She is never left behind on any holiday and gets spoiled with good food (dog food don’t worry) and presents. Even my grandparents invite her to join the festivities, and they weren’t even dog lovers. Blue managed to change that! She has a million nicknames and answers to them all. I could go on and on about how truly amazing Blue is. I still cannot believe your foundation rescued her from a local kill shelter. No one ever believes the path she has walked in her life. She is such a phenomenal, well adjusted, bright shining star and I have you to thank for it. I cannot express my utter love and appreciation to your shelter. You have changed my life with one simple decision to not allow one small creator, a mutt in a cage, to leave this Earth without a chance at a life. Thank you for bring Blue into my life and selecting ME as her caregiver. I feel so honored and privileged to call her my own. Even now I am brought to tears at this magnificent animal you have bestowed onto me. Words cannot express my gratitude. I will forever rescue, and only from Noah’s. You will hear from me again. Give all your rescue animals hugs from Blue and her family!!

June, 2010: Cooper
Meet Cooper. What a special boy he is! Copper was adopted by a wonderful family who loves him very much. He gets to go on a lot of adventures (as you can see from this picture). He also has kids and other dogs to play with too. He is such a happy boy. What a great life! He deserves it (as they all do)!
May, 2010: Makita and Sandy
Meet Makita and Sandy....the fantastic mom and daughter duo. How cute are they? Makita and Sandy were adopted by a wonderful family who absolutely love this adorable pair. They spend their days playing and sleeping and then playing and sleeping some more. How can you not fall in love with these two? Look at those faces!
May, 2010: Mingus
Update from Mingus' new mom: "He's doing great and is so integrated into our family that we can't imagine he ever wasn't with us. He loves the dog park and could play with other doggies all day long if we let him. He can also fly! I am planning to sign up for an agility class with him before too long because he has endless energy and would be so great at it. As you can see from the photos, we think we'll keep him a little longer!" Also see the update "Mingus and Caymen" to see Mingus and his new sister Caymen.
May, 2010: Mingus and Caymen
This is Mingus with his new sister Caymen. They are "best buds."

April, 2010: Gus and Zeke
Meet Gus and Zeke. They were both adopted by a wonderful family who love them very much. They are best and inseparable buddies! How cute are they?
April, 2010: Cookie
This is Cookie. Boy did she end up in the right house. Cookie has a new mom and dad who love her to pieces and as you can see from this picture, she lives in the lap of luxury. Cookie was abandoned in the rural streets of Reedley when she was just a young kitten. Fortunately she was cared for by a great foster mom and when she was old enough to be adopted, she found the greatest mom and dad! Now that’s a Happy Ending……

April, 2010: Zack
Meet Zack. Zack was adopted by a wonderful family along with his new brother Charlie. Look at that face.....What a handsome boy he is. Also see the Happy Ending Zack and Charlie.

April, 2010: Zack and Charlie
This is Zack and Charlie and what a pair they are. They were both adopted by a wonderful family that has lots of room for them to run and play, that is of course in between naps on their big cushy dog beds. They also get play dates with their cousin Darcy. Zack and Charlie are two of the most spoiled pooches....and who can blame them. Look at those faces.

July, 2010: Remington
Update from Remington's new mom: Hi Noah's! I adopted my Remington in March this year. She is just 7 months old. I just want you all to know how happy we are together. She is my girl. The picture I've attached is when she was 5 months old, but she's just as beautiful but BIGGER. We are a pair. A forever pair. Thanks so much for all you do to keep our furry kids in families that love them.

March, 2010: Tinker Bell
Meet Tinker Bell. Tinker Bell was adopted by a wonderful lady 8 years ago from Noah's. What a beautiful cat she is. Her mom absolutely adores her and says she a BIG LOVE.
March, 2010: Rainy
Meet Rainy....Rainy is such a sweet, loving and beautiful girl. Rainy was saved from what would have been a terrible fate, as with many of Noah's dogs. The day Noah's saved her, it was raining cats and dogs (excuse the pun)....so we named her Rainy. Rainy soon went into foster care at Noah's and her foster mom absolutely fell in love with her. While it was hard for her foster mom to let Rainy go, Rainy was adopted by a wonderful family. Her new dad takes her everywhere with him. She is spoiled rotten, as she should be. Rainy and her dad love to go on adventures (see the Happy Ending, Rainy Loves the Beach). Rainy and her new dad are perfect for each other. She is such a happy girl!
March, 2010: Rainey Loves the Beach
Here is Rainy having a GREAT time on the beach. She loves it so much, her new dad takes her there several times a week. I'm not quite sure who has more fun, Rainy playing on the beach or her dad watching her having such a good time....

February 14, 2010: Charlie and Friend
This is a picture we could just not pass up sharing with you. This is Charlie. He is at one of our mobile adoption events hoping to find his Forever Home. Charlie quickly made friends with a little boy who was there to check out and play with the dogs. You can tell Charlie and the little boy hated every minute.....
February, 2010: Whiskey
Whiskey....What a beautiful dog he is. Whiskey is a blind Boxer that was found alone, frightened and wandering the streets of a central San Joaquin Valley town. A good samaritan picked him up and called us. Ads were place in the area newspaper, county and city animal control agencies were notified and a number of other steps were taken to find his family but no one came forward for the sweet boy. So, very shortly after he moved into his great foster home, a wonderful family met and fell madly in love with him. This is a picture of Whiskey with his new "play mate" and forever best friend. It seems they were made for each other!
February, 2010: Chloe
Meet Chloe. What a pretty girl she is. Chloe was adopted by a wonderful family and has a new sister Bonnie that she gets to play with all day (unless she's taking a nap either on or under the bed). Chloe's dad is a photographer, and it appears she knows just how to pose for her picture. How cute is that!
February, 2010: Ruby
Meet Ruby.....Ruby was one of seven puppies born in forster care at Noah's. Ruby was adopted by a wonderful family who loves her very much. You can see how cozy she is on the sofa. Ruby also has a sister, Bonnie. Check out their update: Ruby and Bonnie Snow Dogs....

December, 2009: Sam
Sam was adopted a couple years ago by a mom who just loves him to pieces. Sam and Sparrow (see his Happy Ending) are brothers now. Sam helps his mom keep the foster dogs in line and lets them know when they get a bit too rowdy.
January, 2010: Reggie and Rosie
Here are Reggie and Rosie together keeping an eye on everything. Isn't this picture priceless?

January, 2010: Reggie
Reggie was adopted by a wonderful family, along with his sister Rosie (see her Happy Ending). As you can see here, Reggie lives in the lap of luxury.

September, 2009: Gizmo
This is Gizmo, with what appears to be her favorite toy. Gizmo recently moved with her loving family and dog sister to Alaska. Better bundle up.....
August, 2009: Brodie and Bentley Sleeping
We could not resist to post the picture of these two brothers. They still sleep with each other. Looks like mom and dad need to get a bigger sofa.....
August, 2009: Bentley
Bentley was one of 7 puppies born in foster care at Noah's. He was adopted, along with his brother Brodie (see his Happy Ending) by a great family. He is a very happy, and big, boy!
August, 2009: Brodie
Brodie was one of 7 puppies born in foster care at Noah's. Brodie was adopted, along with his brother Bentley (see his Happy Ending) by a great family. As you can see in the picture, he is a very happy guy.
August, 2009: Phoebe
Update from Phoebe's new mom: She's learned an outstanding, trustworthy command "Come" as well as a swift "Sit" and "Down," and an almost patient "Wait." She's working on "do not chase the cats, do not lick the cats' faces until they meow for mercy and do not munch out of their litter box." Phoebe even taught Sam the dog how to play "chase me" with apples from the apple tree. Sam goes to find the apple, then Phoebe takes possession and poor Sam has to chase her around till she finally tires and then he grabs the apple and promptly eats it so she can't get it away from him. She's a good dog with more energy and enthusiasm than I can keep up with! But she is HIGHLY motivated by food...so that makes training much easier. P.S. I think she has some kind of hound in her! She keeps her nose to the ground alot and she has that slightly stubborn hound streak!

December, 2009: Sparrow Loves TV
Sparrow is one special guy. One of his favorite activities is to watch TV. He will sit there and watch TV for 30 minutes at a time. In this picture he is watching "The Santa Claus" and he was fascinated by the Reindeer. And look out if a dog or cat appears on the TV! It does not matter what he is doing, he always sees it. So no watching Animal Planet for us..... Sparrow was one of 7 puppies born in foster care at Noah's. Sparrow's foster mom loved him so much, she adopted him (this is what we call a foster failure....lol). Sparrow now is great at teaching all the foster dogs that come in and out of his home how to use the doggie door, how to play keep away, and how to play chase. Don't let those short legs fool you. He can usually out run them.
